Pricing
A base price covering one person, and every other employee costs more each month on top of that. There is a list of extras you can pay for as well. Prices are published in US dollars.
Zeus: The Free plan costs nothing and never runs out. It covers one person, and as many jobs, quotes and invoices as you like. Pro is CAD $39 a month for one person. Crew is $99 a month for 5 people, and there are larger sizes up to $349 a month for unlimited seats. Pay for a whole year at once and you save up to 25%. Prices shown in Canadian dollars.
Every product compared here does one of three things: it publishes its prices in US dollars, it shows a dollar amount without saying which dollars, or it publishes no price at all. Zeus is priced in Canadian dollars. So the numbers side by side are not a straight comparison.
Free plan
No free plan. Markate publishes a 14-day trial with no card required.
Best for
Solo operators in cleaning, maintenance and seasonal work.
✓ = yes · ✗ = no · — = only some of it · NOT STATED = the company does not say either way, and we will not mark something as missing just because they stayed quiet.
Works with no signal
Basements, mechanical rooms, rural calls. It keeps working, and sends everything later.
A free plan you can really work with
Run jobs, book them in, do inspections, send quotes and send invoices, all for free. It never runs out.
The price is on the page
Free and Pro cost the same, however big your business is. Crew comes in four sizes, each a single price for the whole team. No sales call to find out the price.
When to pick Markate instead
Pick Markate if you work alone in one of the trades it is written for and you want its marketing tooling. It also publishes offline use, which most of this list does not.
Why Businesses Choose ZEUS
Markate's published offline capability is viewing your schedule and work orders. Zeus writes offline. Markate's bill counts people from the first employee. Zeus counts them in a block: the Crew Plan is sold in four sizes, so a whole team is one price.
