Two-factor sign-in, and your recovery codes

A code from your phone, on top of your password

The problem

Your phone carries a full copy of the business, and a password is the only thing in front of it. Reuse that password anywhere and everything behind it is reused too.

What Zeus does

Two-factor sign-in adds a six-digit code from an authenticator app, and hands you one-time recovery codes for the day the phone is gone.

Do this

Start on Settings

  1. More

    Open the Menu from the bottom bar

  2. Settings & Account

    The first row on the Menu

  3. Two-Factor Authentication

    Optional, and you can turn it off later

    Look at Security

  4. Turn On

    Zeus asks for your password first

  5. Type intoPassword

    Your account password, then Continue

  6. Copy Setup Key

    Paste it into your authenticator app

    Look at Setup key

  7. Type intoAuthenticator code

    The six digits your authenticator app is showing

  8. Confirm

    From here, sign-in needs both

  9. Save or Share

    Each code signs you in once, then stops working

    Look at Save Your Recovery Codes

  10. Done

    Greyed until you tick that you saved them

You now have

Sign-in now needs both, and your recovery codes are saved somewhere safe.
