Gutter Cleaning Checklist
A gutter cleaning visit from the ladder setup to the handover: the walk-around, clearing the troughs and downspouts, the flow test, what the gutters and fascia showed, and the photos the Client sees afterwards.
29 of 29 items on the sheet
Tick items off as you go, hide a section or a single line, write a note or add a photo on any row, then save it. Nothing you type, tick or attach here is saved or sent anywhere: a note and a photo print on the sheet and are gone when you reload.
The button opens your print dialog: choose Save as PDF as the destination (or print it straight to paper). The sheet carries only the items you kept.
Sheet details
Optional. Whatever you type prints across the top of the sheet; leave one blank and it prints as an empty line to fill in on site.
Before the Ladder Goes Up 6/6
Note where the service drop meets the house before a ladder is carried round the back. A ladder that tips toward a line is the worst thing that can happen on this job.
Before photos settle the later question about a bent hanger or a trampled bed. Take them before anything is moved.
Clearing the Gutters 5/5
A heavy build-up of granules is a sign the roof surface is wearing. It is worth a photo and a sentence to the Client, not a diagnosis.
Downspouts 4/4
Flow Test 4/4
Water that sits in one spot after the flow stops points to a sag or a hanger that has let go. The distance from a corner is how the spot is found again.
Gutter and Fascia Condition 5/5
Closing Out 5/5
Keep the repairs as their own lines, separate from the cleaning. A gutter that is clean today and a gutter with nothing wrong with it are not the same thing.
Notes
Optional. Anything you write here prints at the foot of the sheet, after the last section: one place for whatever does not belong to a single line.
0 of 3,000 characters
That is the whole sheet.

This checklist is a working document, not a code inspection or a substitute for a licensed professional. Confirm the current code, permit and licensing requirements for your own jurisdiction before you sign anything off.
What the Gutter Cleaning Checklist Covers
29 checks across 6 sections: Before the Ladder Goes Up, Clearing the Gutters, Downspouts, Flow Test, Gutter and Fascia Condition, Closing Out. Work through it on a phone on site, or export the PDF and carry the paper. Anything you tick prints ticked, a note you write on a line prints under it, and a section you do not need can be hidden before you export.
It is free, there is no account, and nothing you enter is kept. Use it as a starting checklist, not a standard. It is written for general Gutters work, so add the checks your own standards and your local code require before you take it to a job.
