You arrive alone at a house where something is broken, and your job is to figure out what, explain it to an anxious client in plain language, quote the repair, and fix it, often all within the hour. One seasonal note worth knowing going in: HVAC demand spikes hard in summer and winter and softens in the shoulder seasons.
